Design is ubiquitous and critical in almost every facet of the knowledge economy. As a result, industry’s demand for UX/UI design skills are insatiable. In this course, we will teach students to become an independent designer armed with both the practical skills and experience to place the user at the centre of all of ther design. On completion of this course, students are ready to start work in this field and begin shaping, improving and building the digital world we live in.
Our UX/UI Design course is intense by design, because our aim is to transform graduates into confident creative leaders. To make sure they turn up “wearing the right boots” our students have prep work to complete before onboarding day. Our prep work will equips student with the basic knowledge needed to succeed on the programme.
Unit 1: User Experience Design
Students learn the fundamentals of UX design: from conducting user research to creating interaction design schemas, as well as utilising a variety of popular tools to develop interactive prototypes.
Unit 2: User Interface Design
We focus on transforming students from competent UX designers, into agile UX/UI designers, diving into the world of brand, colour and system design, before developing leadership skills to get the best out of a team to drive business impact.
Having worked intensely on practical projects for many weeks – you’ll begin thinking about your career strategy.
As a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer, each graduates aim is to build a timeline of exciting real-world projects to demonstrate their skills and experience – this is all part of their personal brand, the things that makes you them unique.
